and this way you get noise free renderings! Hope this helps. Now if you start rendering (the denoiser can't be activated during the interactive rendering, only during normal render!) and open the Vray Frame Buffer you have to select the Denoiser channel in the top left corner in the Buffer. Open the 'Render Elements' tab and add the channel 'Denoiser'. There you have options like Raytrace, Global Illumination, Caustics, etc. Like I said, even when I played with the settings, the grain/noise still remained.Įdit: Problem Solved! There's an easy way to remove the noise completely, even for quick renderings! First you go to the settings and click the arrow on the right to expand the settings. Mind you, the picture in the link is rendered with base settings and was just done to show my problem. The way the CPU and GPU renderers work is totally different, GPU raytracing is much more brute-force intensive, I wouldn’t be surprised to be a bit disappointed at the performance of one 2080Ti vs a monster Threadripper in a not-apples-to-apples comparison. Is there a way to remove the noise for a quick rendering? I'm pretty new to vray and I've looked up tutorials and possible solutions, but nothing has really worked yet or Rhino crashed before I got any results. As the title says, my Vray 3 (trial version) renderings always come out with that noise/grain ( as you can see in this picture), no matter what I do.
